Welcome to Buckets for Butts

Buckets for Butts is a fundraiser basketball organization dedicated to Mike Mallon Sr. and Lynch Syndrome Awareness. Mike Mallon Sr. is a father, son, husband, grandfather, coach, Marine Corp veteran, and much more. He was diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome in 2010. Lynch Syndrome is a genetic mutation that makes you 80% more likely to develop colorectal and endometrial cancers. About 90% of people who have recurring colon cancer, have Lynch Syndrome.

Mike Mallon Sr. has beaten cancer 6 times! 4 different types of cancer to be specific! Our goal was to create a way to spread awareness in a big way! He has coached basketball and has been an avid basketball fan his whole life, that’s how we came up with the name, Buckets for basketball and Butts for Lynch Syndrome. Hence, Buckets for Butts.
